Jean Marie Murr of Lakewood peacefully passed away holding her husband's hand in her home at the age of 64.
Born August 16, 1951 in Madison Wisconsin to Lawrence "Eric" Erickson and Lorraine, Jean graduated from Monona Grove High School in 1969. An accomplished artist, she developed her creativity as a landscape designer before bringing her bright and colorful style to canvas and other media, including jewelry. Her love for her husband, two daughters and grandchildren was immeasurable. She CHERISHED the ocean, long walks on the beach, traveling and adventure. Golf, fly-fishing, horses and her dogs were some of her favorite things.
Grandma "Curly" is survived by her husband of 24 years, Jerry; daughters, Joy (Greg Osburn) Adams and Jill (John) Stadtmueller; grandchildren, Sienna and Cooper; brother, David and sisters, Ann (Rex) Hutcheson, Mary (Mark) Treadaway and Donna Geiger.
Her bright and colorful personality was instantly adored by the people she met, and by her endless number of friends. We will miss her terribly.
We love you "Curly"!
