Leticia M. (Hernandez) Saunders, 61, of Lakewood, passed away June 5, 2016.
She was born November 23, 1954 in Guadalajara, Mexico, the daughter of Alvaro and Beatrice (Casillas) Hernandez.
Leticia was a medical physician as well as a homeopathy doctor. She loved to work with the elderly and the poor. She loved to learn and advance her medical education. Leticia was bilingual, being able to assist not only Mexicans but Americans.
Leticia enjoyed studying different religions. She also particularly enjoyed studying the Jewish religion and spoke Hebrew. Leticia especially loved the ocean, the beach and eating seafood. Above all, Leticia lived for her son, Jeffrey, and her husband, Jack. She will be remembered as a loving, devoted and supportive wife and mother. She was dearly loved and will be forever missed.
Leticia is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Jack Saunders; 1 sister; 2 brothers; Many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
She is preceded in death by Son, Jeffrey Roscoe Miller and her Father, Alvaro Hernandez.
