Henry George Herrera , 64, of Denver, passed away September 2, 2016.
He was born April 14, 1952 in Cheyenne, Wyoming, the son of Joe and Josie (Perea) Herrera.
Henry loved to watch Western movies. He also enjoyed to listen to his music. He will be remembered as a jack-of-all-trades, fixing anything and everything. He was always there for people, fixing anything as needed. He was an awesome son to his parents. He was also a devoted husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. His house was the place that the children would like to hang out because he enjoyed playing with them. He was an avid sports fan, watching and playing whatever he could. He was dearly loved by his wife and children and will be forever missed.
Henry is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Rose Herrera; Son, Andrew E. Castro; Two Daughters, Veronica A. Stange, Star M. (Joshua) Koller; Twelve Grandchildren, Richard Stange, Jr., Julianna Stange, Genesa Koller, Elexsis Koller, Savanna Koller, Joshua Koller, Jr., Genesis Castro, Isaiah Castro, Gianni Castro and Henry George Herrera- Castro, who will be born soon; Four Brothers, Serafin (Mary) Herrera, Raymond (Margie) Herrera, Tony Herrera and Bobby Herrera; Eight Sisters, Angie (Ramon ) Herrera, Cory (Bob) Martinez, Lorraine Montoya, Elsie (Louie) Sierra, Cathy Muro, Debbie Sierra, Susie Herrera and Delores Herrera; Brother-In-Law, Mario Valerio and Many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by Father, Joe Raymond Herrera; Mother, Josie Matilda Perea Herrera; Two grandchildren, Andrew Castro, Jr. and Lilianna Herrera; Sister, Mary Arellano and two Brothers-In-Law, Tom Montoya, and Richard Sierra.
