John Edward "Jed" Dale, 55, of Alamosa, passed away unexpectedly on September 2, 2016.
He was born December 9, 1960 in Pueblo, Colorado, the son of John and Anne (Bruner) Dale. He was a graduate of Aurora Central High School. Jed was a Master's student at Adams State College, an accomplished public speaker, avid member of Toastmasters, and guest speaker of Helping Boys Thrive in 2015. He enjoyed golf, road trips, reading, coaching football and spending time with the "Widge." Jed was the loving father to Delaney Rae "Widge" Dale.
John is survived by his parents John and Anne Dale; two sisters, Libby (Susan Johnson) Dale, Sara Dale; daughter, Delaney Dale; ex-wife, Lynnae Stevens; nephew, Carter Erickson; two nieces, Emily Johnson; great-nephew, Benjamin Erickson; as well as a host of family and friends.
