Rosemary Stone McDonald, 86, of Lakewood, Colorado was born in Wittenberg, Wisconsin on June 8, 1930. She passed away Thursday, December 8, 2016.
In 1948, Rosemary graduated from New Trier High School, Winnetka, Illinois. She attended Winnetka Bible Church and accepted Christ during those years. In the Crusader Group, Rosemary met Frank Psenicka III whom she married. After their move to Denver, Colorado, she enjoyed meeting people as an Avon Representative, where she won many rewards, and in Sears Catalog Sales. She was very involved in her church with the Women's Missionary Union. She also enjoyed entertaining friends and family at her home. In 1980, her husband Frank was killed in a vehicular accident.
As a widow, Rosemary loved traveling abroad with her sister, Kathleen. During her membership at Riverside Baptist Church, Rosemary met Chuck McDonald in the Singles Bible Study group in 1985. They married June 14, 1986.
Chuck and Rosemary enjoyed attending church, socializing with friends, family gatherings, ballroom dancing, and travels to California, the East Coast, the Hawaiian Islands, Canada, Scandinavia, Ireland, Russia, and the British Isles.
Mrs. McDonald was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Favorite pastimes included Christian fellowship, flower gardening, and frequenting local restaurants. She was an avid reader. Above all, she loved the time that she spent with her grandchildren.
Survived by her dedicated, loving husband Charles G. McDonald; three children: Stephen (Christina) Psenicka and Lee (Tom) Psenicka Devenish, and Natasha Psenicka; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She also is survived by five step-daughters: Carren (Dave) Williams, Connie Jones, Cleta McDonald, Anastasia Souleotis, and Mary Marlow; 17 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death were her beloved parents, Clyde Stone and Jennie (Lane) Stone; sister, Kathleen Fredricksen, and granddaughter, Sara Gabrielle Devenish.
Funeral will be held at Lochwood Christian Fellowship at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 14, 2016. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to her much loved church: Lochwood Christian Fellowship at 1354 South Union Blvd., Lakewood, Colorado 80228. Private Interment at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
