Leslie J. Ackerman, 74, of Aurora, passed away May 26, 2017.
She was born July 27, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Herman and Ellen (Smith) Reidenbach. She was a graduate of Aurora Central High School. On October 20, 1961 she married Larry Ackerman, of Aurora, Colorado.
Leslie is survived by her husband, Larry Ackerman; two daughters, Cathy (Rick) Medina and Linda (Dwayne) Stephens; four grandchildren, Heather (Shaun) McNulty, Becky (Brian) Moore, Kaleigh Ellen Medina, and Brooke Medina; four great-grandchildren, Bryce McNulty, Lauren Jean McNulty, Aubree Medina, and Ashlee Medina; twin sister, Sandy (Harold) Kosmerl; nephew, Tim Kosmerl; and niece Wendy Kosmerl Johnson. She is preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Ellen Reidenbach.
