Vivian was born in Chapman, Kansas to the town's only electrician and worked at the nearby college in Manhattan Kansas beginning at the age of 17. She was very proud to tell everyone she was a "dime a dance" girl during World War II! She eventually moved to Minnesota in 1954 where she met and married her husband, Darold, in 1955. Vivian lived a life of adventure as Darold was career Air Force. This allowed her the luxury of traveling the world, beginning in Tripoli, Libya in 1955 and ending up in Colorado in 1970. Her travels did not end once they retired from military and moved to Colorado and she was fortunate to have been able to go on many other travel adventures, including Norway and Israel.
Traveling was her passion and she is now on a brand new travel adventure as she is dancing her way through the stars to heaven to be with her late husband, parents, sisters, etc.!
