Evelyn Bradbury

Evelyn Carol Bradbury passed away at age 71 Wednesday January 23rd, 2019 in Thornton Colorado. Born Evelyn carol Duell in Keokuk Iowa on March 17th, 1947 to the late James Edward Duell and late Ruth Evelyn Thompson.

Evelyn is survived by a loving husband James Bradbury, 2 children, 11 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.

A loving Wife, Mother, sister, Grandmother, great grandmother and friend, her family began with the marriage to her husband in February 19th, 1966 and followed with the birth of their first child Michael Todd Bradbury. Their second child, Shannon Michele Bradbury was born April 6th, 1971.

Evelyn was a lifelong photographer who worked for the sears company doing what she loved; being artistic and creative adding her unique touch to her work taking beautiful pictures of people and families. Her favorite past time was spending time working and playing in her garden, growing and cultivating many beautiful plants and flowers, which often attracted hummingbirds to come visit. Evelyn loved hummingbirds which held a deeply special meaning for her.

Evelyn was above all else a caregiver and nurturing mother who dedicated her life to raising her precious and ever-growing family. Evelyn wanted all who she leaves behind to remember the loving life she had and the beautiful memories she made with all of you. The laughter, the warm and tender moments, the smiles she brought to so many. Evelyn will forever be remembered in our hearts and in the blessings of her wonderful family.
