Marcia "Marcy" Lang-Cottrell

Marcia "Marcy" Lang-Cottrell, 66, of Aurora, passed away September 5, 2019.

She was born January 24, 1953 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Henry and June (Clark) Lang.

Marcy was a graduate of Cherry Creek High School in 1971. She received her Licensed Practical Nursing certificate from Auraria Community College.

Marcy was a Licensed Practical Nurse for Cherrelynn Nursing Center in Littleton for many years. She later became a Floral Designer for Cubs and King Soopers stores.

On June 18, 1996, she married Allen Cottrell.

Marcy taught disabled children to swim. At a young age, Marcy enjoyed diving. She enjoyed gardening and her pets.

Marcy is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Allen L. Cottrell; step-daughter, Amy E. (Jim) Thoming; step-grandson, Brayden Thoming; step-granddaughter, Aubrey Thoming; brother, Henry J. Lang, Jr.; three sisters, Karen A. Cyga, Candia A. Lang and Margo M. (Jerry) Brumell and many nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.

She is preceded in death by father, Henry James Lang; mother, June A. Lang; brother, Gary F. Lang and her cherished cat, Thomas.
