Ashley Marie Barnes, 22, died of heart failure on April 11,2020.
She was born in Miles City MT, but has lived lived most of her life in TX and CO. She had a special place in her heart for her grandparents ranch in MT and always told people that is were she was from. Her fondest childhood memories being that of playing on the ranch with her multitude of cousins.
She is survived by her parents Roger Barnes and Mary Anderson; her fiancé Brandon Starnes; her Grandparents Dick and Jane Anderson; a large extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins (too long to list); and her kitties Blair and Marley.
She loved spending time with her friends Jana, Shana, Lacey, and many more (also too long to list here); working on cars with Brandon; perusing Micheal's and Hobby Lobby for crafts; working in optometry, especially with deaf clients; Halloween; ogling classic cars (especially Chevy's); going to concerts; relaxing in the beauty of the outdoors; and looked forward to a career helping others in speech pathology or Audiology (she was still undecided).
Ashley's ashes will rest in part in CO near her home in Black Forest with a Celebration of Life to take place at 10am Fridaym October 30 at Eastonville Cemetery, northeast corner of Meridian and Latigo Roads in Black Forest, northeast of Colorado Springs.
A spreading of some Ashes at the ranch will happen during the family reunion.
