Obituary for Paula L. Todd
Paula L. Todd (nee Belau) passed away on September 14, 2020 at Porter Hospice in Centennial, Colorado. Paula was born on January 22, 1952 in Imperial, Nebraska to Paul L. and Emma L. Belau.
She is survived by her husband, Dave M. Todd, her daughter, Nicole M. Miller (Greg), and three grandchildren: Josiah, Mary, and Rebekah; and her brother, Dennis (Linda). She is also survived by brothers-in-law, Charles Todd (Crucita), Dan Todd (Colleen), and John Todd (Dixie); and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Paula was preceded in death by her infant brother, Douglas L. Belau, her father, Paul L. Belau, and her mother, Emma L Belau.
She married Dave Todd on October 22, 1978, in Aurora, Colorado.
Paula graduated from Fort Morgan High School, studied at Arapahoe Community College. She worked for Writer Corporation, Whirlpool Corporation, Miele Corporation, Mountain High Appliances and Colorado Pest Company.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren, and visits to their mountain cabin in South Park, Colorado that Dave and her father built. Paula was an artist with special talents in gardening, photography, pottery, sewing, cross-stitching, home organization and cooking. She took pride and joy in her gourmet kitchen and enjoyed cooking for others. In addition, she loved to read and was part of a longstanding book club with friends.
A memorial service will take place at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 3, 2020, at Calvary Church, located at 18900 E. Hampden Avenue, Aurora, Colorado, 80013. At a later date, Paula will be buried at Mount Hope Cemetery in Imperial, Nebraska, where she will rest with five generations of family.
