Mary Ann Jones aka Mae was born in Jackson, TN to the proud parents
of Nancy Lee and Esau Jones on January 23, 1945.
At a young age Mary Ann met the man that she spent the next twenty
years of her life with. Charles L. Williams and Mary Ann Jones united in
marriage in 1960, and from that union are four children; Lamont, Todd,
Tuana, and Taiwan.
In 1981 Mary started a new adventure, she discovered a career, in the medical field and started a new life marrying John Marshall. After working as a Technician at Manteno Mental health Center, she achieved her dream and went on to become a Registered Nurse.
Mary continued to pursue higher education and added yet another accomplishment to her list in becoming a Doctor of Natural Medicines. Eventually opening up her very own practice helping others which she loved, and spent many years doing so.
Mary dedicated her life to serving Jehovah God. She was baptized in
1976 and continued to serve as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, and many
of those years serving in the full-time ministry. Being one of Jehovah's
Witnesses allowed her to do what she loved, helping others. She took
her privilege seriously took every opportunity to do so.
Mary leaves to mourn her loving memories her sons, Lamont and Taiwan; daughter, Tuana Roberts (Marcus Roberts), grandchildren, Dominic Lacy, Devon Williams, Anjya Williams, Darlana Williams, Darius Marshall, Angel Smith and Ashley Cummings (David Cunnings), her siblings; Ron
Jones (Linda), Bertha Johnson, Carolyn Jennings, Percy Jones (Jackie) and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Mary was preceded in death by: Husband, John Marshall; son, Todd Williams, granddaughter Magen Neely, her parents Nancy and Esau Jones, and many aunts and uncles.
She will be dearly missed by all and we look forward to seeing her again.
