Adele (Smolen) Aubin of Aurora, CO, formerly of South Hadley, MA, passed away on September 13 at the age of 94. She was born in Holyoke, MA, to the late Floryan and Catherine (Borowiecka) Smolen, and was a graduate of Holyoke High School Class of 1943.
Dolly, as she was affectionately known, worked at Ampad Inc., in Holyoke for 26 years before retiring in 1988. She was a communicant of St. Theresa's Church in South Hadley for many years.
Dolly is predeceased by her first husband Emil (Jack) Jagodowski, her second husband Jean-Paul Aubin, her eldest daughter Kathryn Bobala, and son-in-law Richard Demers. She leaves behind her son-in-law Chet Bobala, her son David Jagodowski and his wife Maureen, and her daughter Pat Demers; six grandchildren, Bob and Doreen Bobala, Stacy and Lindsay Jagodowski, and Ryan and Rory Demers; as well as three great-grandchildren, Taylor and Ben Foley, and Finn Jagodowski-Burt.
Dolly has lived for the past 5 years at the Cherry Creek Retirement Village where she enjoyed playing card games with the many residential friends she acquired.
