Agnes Pauline Thomas

January 1931 – October 2022

Agnes (Aggie) passed away on October 31, 2022; she was 91 years old. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, George Thomas, Her sisters, Helen and Eloise, and brothers, Duane, Max, and Lee.

Agnes was born January 23, 1931, in Leon, Iowa to Dewey and Dorothy (Brant) Petty. She moved to Colorado with her mother, brothers, and sisters when she was a teenager and spent most of her life in Colorado.

Aggie is survived by her daughter Cindy and son Matthew (Elizabeth). Her grandchildren, Darcy, Brett, Marc, and Andrew, and many nieces and nephews.

She loved playing bingo, traveling, especially to the beach, crafting, and playing board games with her friends and family. And of course, she loved to play poker and was pretty good at it! She also loved those Lucky 7's on the slot machines and somehow, they always showed up for her.

In a letter she left to be opened upon her death she wrote: "It's been a good life because I had a good husband and have 2 great kids, a wonderful daughter-in-law and Darcy, Brett, Marc, and Andrew. You were the love of my life. Love you All."
