Alan Bryan Baker passed away on Dec 25, 2024, at the age of 57 years old.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Baker. He is survived by his mother, Marilyn Baker, sisters, Chris Baker, Denise Thorn (husband Darin), brother Brad Baker (wife Nico), his niece Caitlyn Baker and his nephew Adam Baker.
Alan was born in Duluth, Minnesota to Richard and Marilyn Baker. He moved with his family to Hermantown, Minnesota when he was 4 years old. He attended the Hermantown school system until the age of 14 when he moved with his family to Lakewood, Colorado.
He graduated from Green Mountain High School in 1985 and attended one year of college at Colorado State University. Alan was the manager of Barbecues Galore in both Austin, Texas and San Raphael, California while residing in San Francisco. In 2003, he moved back to Lakewood and proceeded to change careers becoming a loan representative for World Savings until World Savings sold the company. After which, Alan went back into various sales jobs.
Alan was married to Amber Rose; they were together for 9 years.
Growing up, Alan played hockey, football and baseball. He and his dad coached his brother's pee wee hockey team in the Arvada Hockey Association (Colorado). Alan loved the Minnesota Vikings football team and the Colorado Avalanche hockey team.
He will be missed.
