Albert J. Leise, 86, of Littleton, died peacefully in his sleep on October 23, 2010. He was born in Wynot, Nebraska, and was one of 10 children. He and Loretta moved to Colorado in the early 50's and raised their family. He was a plumber, general contractor and building inspector.
He was an avid card player and sports fan, especially the Colorado Rockies. He was very creative in working with his hands, and strung many beads for rosaries. In his younger days he was a baseball pitcher, and later a golfer who achieved a hole-in-one.
Survived by wife Loretta of 63 years, children Robert (and Glenndeen) Leise of Larkspur, Shirley (and Alfred) Swenson of Union, WA and Sandy (and Steve) Wilkerson of Littleton, CO. Grandchildren include Jennifer (and Clint) Sandell, Kim (and Mike) Steed, A.J. and Paige Wilkerson, step-grandsons Willis Swenson and Karry Swenson; great-grandchildren Luke Sandell, Katie and Halie Steed.
