Alberta Antoinette Long, 81, of Thornton, passed away July 17, 2020.
She was born February 12, 1939 in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of Tony and Marian (Taylor) Duran. She was a graduate of Manual High School.
She was a clerk with US West Telephone for many years. She was also a strong union member.
Alberta enjoyed watching old cowboy movies and eating donuts with her coffee. She will be remembered for her feisty spirit and her fierce love for her family.
Alberta is survived by children, Pamela Aragon, Charles Long and Terri Workman Salmond; eight grandchildren including Marie Long, Monica (Joseph) Stanek, Rhiannon (Emilio Lopez) Aragon-Lopez, Vincent Aragon and Patrick Aragon; three great-grandchildren, Elisha Tiscareno, Isaiah Stanek and Anastasia Stanek and sister, Rose Marie (Dan) Hackett.
She is preceded in death by father, Tony Duran and mother, Mariane Duran.
