Alberta Mae Verhoeff a resident of Denver, Colorado, passed away February 12, 2018 in Aurora, Colorado. She was born January 13, 1930 in Sterling, Colorado to parents Earl and Esther Duffield. Alberta was the oldest of five children. Her siblings include Gordon, Stella, Irene and James.
Alberta is survived by her loving children April (Robert) Chapman; Archie(Debora) Verhoeff; Alice( Mark) Ryan and Alan( Lisa) Verhoeff. Six grandchildren, Jennifer (Marlo) Barnes; Verity (Justin) Becher; Nicole ( Joe) Sanchez; Rebecca (James) Moessner; Joshua ( Heather) Verhoeff and John ( Ashley) Chapman. She is also survived by 13 great-granchildren.
Alberta was proceeded in death by husband John Verhoeff and parents Earl and Esther Duffield.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made in her memory to The American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231 or American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900, Arlington, VA 22202.
