Alex John Gettler

Alex John Gettler unexpectedly, was invited to take his place with the Lord on January 23, 2009. He was born in North Platte, Nebraska on August 10, 1973. Left to rejoice his life are his wife, Pamela; his daughter, Kayla; and his stepsons, Chad and Colin. Alex is also survived by his parents, J. Mack, Jr. and Linda Gettler; grandmother, Eleanor Butts; sister Candida R. (Connie) Romero; brothers, Raymond M. (Jamie) Gettler; Benjamin G. (Penny); and Andrew P. Gettler. Other survivors include his mother-in-law, Dolores Tafoya and his sister-in-law, Susan (Hector) Pavon, and brothers-in-law, Daniel (Rachael) and Mark (Susanne). Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends will miss his presence. Alex was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Raymond L. Haller, Paternal grandparents, J. Mack, Sr. and Candida A. Gettler and father-in-law, Ernie Tafoya.

Rosary, Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at 7:30PM at Newcomer Funeral Home - West Metro Chapel, Mass of Christian Burial , Thur., 9:30am, Holy Name Catholic Church, 3290 W. Milan Ave., Englewood, CO (303) 781-6093. Interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 12801 W. 44th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
