Alexander Tubbs Merrick

83,passed away on November 25, 2005 peacefully in his home. Survived by loving wife Mikiko; sons Mike and Douglas Merrick; nephews James and Peter Edwards. Preceded in death by parents Thomas Ernest and Ada Isabel Tubbs. Alex was born in England and served in the Royal Air Force as a Navigator. He came to the U.S.A in 1952 and was employed by United Airlines as a navigator/flight operation instructor and a second flight officer. He liked to play the ukelele "Underneath the Arch" was his best song. He retired in 1987 and spent his time creating beautiful flower gardens and tending to his beloved dogs. Memorial service Sunday, December 11, 2005 at 10 A.M. Aurora First Seventh Day Adventist Church 11400 E. Mississippi Ave., Aurora, CO.
