Mrs. Alice R. Lopez passed away on Wednesday, December 27th, 2017, at the age of 83. She was born on June 2nd, 1934, in Raton, New Mexico.

Alice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, sister, and aunt. She gave her time and energy unconditionally to all her family and friends. She will always be remembered for her strength and love.

She is survived by her husband Ron, her children Anthony, Fred, Pete and Vincent; stepchildren Valerie, Christopher, Anthony, Marcelina, and Stephanie; her grandchildren Maria, Celina, Mikayla, Richard, Michelle, Joshua, Julia, Valery, Michael, Silvio, Valerie, Christopher, Anthon, Marcelina, and Stephanie; 40 great grandchildren; her sisters Virginia, Lydia, Margie; her brother Gabriel; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was proceeded in death by her son Richard; siblings Irene, Flora, Albert, Jovencio, Leroy Augustine Jr, and Eloy; and her parents Mary and Augustine Trujillo.

A viewing will be held at 10:00 am with services to follow at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, January 9th 2018, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 901 S. Sheridan, Lakewood, CO 80226. Elder Tookie Arellano will officiate followed by an open mic of celebration and sharing. Burial services to be held at Fort Logan Cemetery at 1 p.m. Friends and family are invited to the post service celebration luncheon at 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the VFW on 4747 W. Colfax Avenue, 80204.
