Alice Rokosky

Alice "Liz" Rokosky was born in Ohio on August 8, 1924. She lived in Monroe, Michigan and surrounding areas for many years before moving to Stump Creek, Pennsylvania and then to Aurora, Colorado. She died on December 18, 2008 after a brief illness.

Alice is survived by her daughter Yvonne (Reaume) DiSabatino and son-in-law Michael DiSabatino of Aurora, Colorado and daughter Nancy Reaume of Monroe, Michigan; grandchildren Lisa DiSabatino of San Diego, California and Todd Reaume of Monroe, Michigan; great grandchildren Ashley, Keisha, Shane, Kim, Clarissa, Larrissa, Allan, and Zach; great-great grandchildren Connor and Matthew.

Alice worked all of her life in various jobs from dry cleaners, to nurse's aide, production work, housekeeping and pet sitting. Her beloved saxophone and music gave her the greatest pleasure. She was a member of her high school band and many other bands during her life. For many years she kept the sax in her car "just in case" she was asked to play, which happened frequently. She enjoyed travelling with friends usually driving wherever the car took them.
