Alina Rose Befus

Alina Rose Befus passed away at Children's Hospital in Aurora, CO on August 26,2021.

She came into this world with thunder and grace on her own schedule August 14,2021 at 11:58pm. She was born at 27 weeks to Tyler and Lindsay Befus at University Hospital in Aurora, CO. She was in the 90th percentile for her height and weight which wasn't surprising considering who her Dad is. She fought with the strength that we all possess without ever knowing we have until that moment arises. The amount of love and support she received during her battle was nothing short of inspiring. The love that radiated from within her little soul was felt throughout the people who came into her life and left with an everlasting impression. Her life wasn't long but her time here encapsulated all one can ask for while on this Earth. Alina's battle lasted for twelve hard days before she finally joined the Lord in His Kingdom at 3:19pm on August 26,2021 while under the amazing care of Children's Hospital. She was able to take her last breath in the comfort of her mother's arms and you could tell this was all she wanted at the end.

Alina Rose is survived by her parents, Tyler & Lindsay Befus as well as her two older sisters, Amelia & Ava. She is also survived by her maternal grandparents, Sheldon & Sharon Lewis, maternal great grandfather Miguel Lujan; her paternal grandparents, Jesus & Carrie Rivera and her paternal great grandmother Kathryn Befus. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Her Rosary will be held from 7pm-8pm on Thursday, September 2nd at Newcomer Mortuary located at 190 Potomac St, Aurora CO 80011

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, September 4th at St. Isidore Catholic Church located at 32100 E. Colfax Ave, Watkins CO 80137.

A reception will follow the burial at 99 N. Newbern Ct Aurora, CO 80018, The Adonea Clubhouse.
