Allen Donald Fransen, 73, of Littleton passed away on April 7. He was born on September 14, 1949, in Benson, MN to Donald Fransen and June Fransen.
Al joined the Air Force shortly after high school and took great pride in his military service as an Aircraft Maintenance Specialist, including two tours of service in Vietnam.
Al was one of five children. He is survived by brother Mark (Sherri) Fransen, sister Lori (Richard) Boedges, son Eric (Heather) Sage, grandchildren Brian and Brandon Sage, and nephews Jeff (Tracy) Gunderson, Ray (Krista) Mertz and Jim Mertz. Al was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Heiliger, his parents and two siblings, Gloria Gunderson and Steve Fransen.
Al will be interred alongside his wife Debbie at Fort Logan National Cemetery on June 8 at 1 p.m.
