The light of our life, Alvino "Richard" Gallegos, Jr gained his wings at the age of 51 on December 29, 2023.
He was born in Denver, Colorado on a Tuesday afternoon, heavy snow that day, large branches fell from trees, blocking streets on the way to St. Joseph's hospital. He grew up in East Denver, and enjoyed playing softball with friends and family. He attended Kennedy High School where he played football.
Rich was a very loving, caring father, husband, son and brother. He loved his family very much! He was a hard worker and had his own business where he did painting and remodeling. He made friends easy. He enjoyed riding his Harley, cooking and traveling with his family. He also loved watching sports, especially his home teams. His laughter was contagious, he was a character, loved to joke and kid around. He loved to take pictures, especially with his daughter Kayla.
He married the love of his life, Nicole, at the age of 25. They had three beautiful children, Kayla, Jessica and Brandon. He was a proud man who loved his children with all his heart. He placed a tattoo of their names in the shape of a heart above his heart. He loved his pets, Smokey and Titus.
Rich is survived by his wife, Nicole Gallegos. Children, Kayla, Jessica, (Ulisses "YoYo" Ramirez), and Brandon (Yamii) Gallegos. Proud parents, Alvino "Richard" Gallegos Sr. and MaryJane Gallegos, Loving sister, Tami Joy Gallegos (Manuel Gomez). Along with numerous family, friends and pets.
He is proceeded in death by his in-laws, Ronald Bugarin and Kathleen Gonzales. Grandparents, Manuel and Audesia Gallegos. Grandparents, Luciano and MaryJane Espinoza. Great-grandma, Celia Duran. Aunt Ria Gallegos, and cousin Dan-Dan Gallegos.

A funeral service will be held in his honor at His Love Fellowship on Friday, January 26th 2024, 10am viewing, 11am services. Reception to follow at The Skyline.
