Ana Perez Blethen, born in Puerto Rico on Oct. 16th 1936, passed away peacefully at home from pancreatic cancer.
Ana is survived by her husband Wayne Blethen, Sons Robert (Carol) Albino, Terry (Devon) Blethen and the three grandchildren which she loved dearly. Hailey, Khiya and Mikayla Blethen.
Ana was a strong willed, independent woman with a fiery personality! During her time working for Army and Airforce Exchange Services she focused on women's rights in the workplace. Her determination and tenaciousness lead her to fight against AAFIS in this male dominating world. She fought for her rights to become the first female manager at her location.
Ana's love for traveling never ended. At the young age of 85 she was still traveling back and forth to New Jersey to visit her brother Caesar and other close family and friends. She enjoyed hosting parties and dancing to salsa. Her love for her son's and grandchildren were always a priority. She always kept her head high and opinions strong.
She will be forever missed by her loved ones.
