Oliver Lee "Mitch" Mitchell, 84, passed away in the state of Washington on June 23, 2005. He was the beloved husband of Neola; father and step-father of 7 children: Mary Boucher, Debbie Mitchell, Kathy Rhodes, Ricky Nordlund, Miles Nordlund, Kendra Shank, and Paul Nordlund; and grandfather and great-grandfather of 31. He is also survived by a brother L.J. Mitchell, 2 nieces, and many cousins. He was retired from the United States Air Force and Civil Service, had many computer interests and enjoyed amateur "ham" radio activities. He also enjoyed extensive travelling. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, 10 a.m., at Newcomer Family West Metro Chapel. Inurnment will follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery, staging area / shelter "B" at 12 noon with full military honors.
