Andrea Abeyta

Andrea Abeyta, of Denver, passed away March 31, 2007. She was born in Trinidad, Colorado on February 4, 1916. Andrea attended school until the 9th grade. She married Eugene Abeyta on April 19, 1936 and was married for 55 years until Eugene passed away on May 16, 1991. Her first five children were born in Trinidad,CO and then the family relocated to Denver.

In total, she and Eugene had 14 children (8 boys and 6 girls) : Eugene (Ida) Abeyta, Leroy Abeyta, Carol (John) Archuleta, Robert (Gwen) Abeyta, Lee David Abeyta, Anita (Robert) Mares, Albert (Loretta) Abeyta, Lil (Larry) Alma, Denise (Ron) Wimer, Mary (Basil) Swatzell, Rita Castillo, Edward Abeyta, Rudy (Tencha) Abeyta and Fred Abeyta; 47 grandchildren, 93 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, 1 brother, 5 sisters, numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

Visitation, Thursday April 5, 2007 from 4:00P.M. until 8:00P.M. and Services, Friday, April 6, 2007 at 10:00A.M., both at the Newcomer Family Funeral Home - West Metro Chapel, with Deacon Lloyd Quintana officiating. Interment, Fort Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area "C". Pallbearers will be Eric Abeyta, Keith Abeyta, David Abeyta, Robby Abetya, Ben Mares, Basil Swatzell, Fred Abeyta, Frank Abeyta, Chad Wimer and Matthew Abeyta.
