Andrea Marie Martin, born on June 5, 1946, in Denver, Colorado, has left this world, passing on October 14, 2024, in Thornton, Colorado, surrounded by the love and warmth of her family and friends. Her journey through life was marked by a deeply nurturing spirit and a commitment to those she cherished.

Andrea will be remembered as a beacon of joy and kindness. Though she never had children of her own, celebrated Mother's Day with heartfelt gatherings, creating cherished memories that transcended her familial title. Her ability to embrace life with friendliness and a love for family resonated throughout her community, drawing many to her warm nature.

Throughout her life, Andrea could often be found enjoying the simple pleasures at her favorite bakery, where perhaps the sweet scents and fresh pastries echoed the sweetness of her spirit. Known for her steadfastness and loving heart, she had a gentle way about her that made those around her feel deeply valued. Her disinclination for change only served to underscore her appreciation for the constants in life—her family, close friends, and the precious traditions they shared.

She leaves behind her beloved sister Mary and her brother-in-law Jim, who hold on dearly to the memories created over the years. Andrea’s legacy also lives on through many nieces and nephews, who will carry forward her legacy of love and kindness.

Andrea is reunited with her husband Bill, who predeceased her, and together, they will continue to inspire love and warmth in the hearts of those they touched.

A farewell to Andrea will take place starting with visitation on October 28, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home in Denver, followed by another visitation on October 29, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Spirit of Christ Catholic Community in Arvada. A Mass will follow from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM on the same day, preceded by an additional gathering until 1:00 PM. Lastly, Andrea will be laid to rest during a graveside service at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver at 2:00 PM.
