Angelique Nicole Lombardi (Kihorany-Maes) was born on December 23, 1977 in Englewood, Colorado, and passed peacefully in her sleep on April 19, 2024.
She attended St. Louis Church and School for 4 years, and then all Englewood schools. She went on to Cosmetology College and earned her degree. She worked in that field for many years. She then went on to earn her degree as an LPN nurse, and became a charge nurse in long term care. But she still worked the Cosmetology field part time. She had a love for music and played the trumpet for many years. She sang in the choirs and was in Englewood’s theater productions. She loved drawing and painting, making her own cards. She loved making soaps and candles and would experiment with scents. She had a crush on Rocky Balboa and would watch the movies over and over again. Her favorite animated film was “Alice in Wonderland”, and loved “going down the rabbit hole”.
In her personal life, Angelique had meaningful relationships with her loved ones. She is survived by her Mother and Step Father John and Denise Lombardi, her son Austin Maes (Kira), daughter Allison Maes, grandmother Josephine Lombardi, grandmother Mary Kihorany, stepmother Cindy Kihorany, brother Terry Kihorany (Nikki), sister Mary Kihorany (Ryan), partner James Quintrall and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends, ex-husband Adam Maes. Angelique was preceded in death by her father, Scott Kihorany.
A memorial service will be held at the “Spirit of Hope United Methodist Church. 4300 South Lincoln Street, Englewood, Colorado 80113 on Thursday May 2nd, at 11:00 am, with a celebration reception following the service.
