Ann Marie Hendrickson passed away Thursday, May 18, 2006, from complications following a stroke. She was born in Aberdeen, South Dakota on June 25, 1923
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, H. M. (Mike) Hendrickson, her daughter Jan (Keith) Giezentanner, granddaughter Elise and grandson Jamie Giezentanner, all of Glenwood Springs, Colorado; sons Kim Jamison of Salt Lake City, Utah and Kerry Jamison of Denver, stepdaughters Sarah Wolach of Draper, Utah and Susan Hendrickson of Phoenix, Arizona; also, five grandchildren: Greg Jamison of Las Vegas, NV; Elise Giezentanner of Baton Rouge, LA and Jamie Giezentanner of Glenwood Springs, CO; Elizabeth (Wolach) Roberts of Park City, Utah and Matthew Wolach of Phoenix, Arizona; and, three great-grandchildren.
Ann was preceded in death by: Bob Jamison, her first husband; sister Marlet Bredehorst Kumm; brother John Bredehorst; and, stepdaughter, Christine Hendrickson. Ann's early childhood was spent in Aberdeen, except for two years in Bremen, Germany. She then lived in Denver since 1936, graduating from Denver South High School in 1941. She married Bob Jamison in 1946; Bob passed away in 1966. She then married Mike Hendrickson on May 15, 1971 in Denver. Ann worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield for many years. She was a longtime member of Bethany Lutheran Church of Englewood, CO. Ann was a wonderful and devoted mother, and true friend to many. Her hobbies were traveling, sewing and helping others. She was always there for us; she will be dearly missed and her mark on our lives will be indelible. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ARC (the Association for Retarded Citizens).
