Anna Deane Conner

Anna Deane (Neuenschwander) Conner passed away on March 12, 2024 in Aurora Colorado at the age of 91.

She was born in Scott City Kansas on December 30, 1932 to Dennis and Marguerite Neuenschwander. In 1934 the family moved to Cedaredge Colorado where she graduated from Cedaredge High School in 1951.

She married Jack F. Conner of Eckert Colorado in August of 1952. They lived in Washington State, Utah, Texas, then settled in Colorado.

Anna was a homemaker and the ultimate caregiver. Her proudest accomplishment was her family, to her, life without children and family would be boring. Anna was a devoted and loving Wife, Mother, Aunt, Grandmother and GG to her Great Grandchildren. She opened her home to many over the years, always welcoming everyone. Anna loved entertaining and having family and friends in for the Holidays or simply to hang out and watch the game, she was an avid Bronco fan. Anna loved baking and was famous for her Christmas cookies and snacks. She was a talented seamstress and made many clothes for her daughter, nieces and her grandchildren. Anna's gardens brought her so much joy, her green thumb extended to her houseplants as well.

Anna made friends easily all her life, she remained in close contact with her classmates all throughout her life. They met often for reunions and lunches for reminiscing and sharing their lives.

She is survived by her Daughter, Valerie Herrman and husband Harold of Strasburg Colorado. Granddaughter, Lindsey Boyd-Petalas and husband Steve, children Annalise Boyd and John Petalas. Grandson, Steven Herrman and wife Leslie, children Trey and Bea.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jack F. Conner and her son Douglas F. Conner

A private interment will be held in Cedaredge Colorado at a later date.

Anna's patience and loving spirit will leave an irreplaceable void in the hearts of everyone that knew and loved her. We love you, we cherish you, we will carry you in our hearts forever.
