Anna (Ann) G. Lutgens was born on August 5, 1919 in Denver to Pommela and William Genereux. She passed away on July 4, 2010 at the age of 90. She is survived by her two children, Jean (George) White of Colorado Springs and Robert (Roberta) Lutgens of Trinidad. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Grant White, Stacey James, Crystal Lutgens, and Thad Lutgens; and seven great grandchildren, Meggan, Mackenzie, Sage, Demitrie, Zoe, Joshua, and Anna. A granddaughter, Tonya White, preceded her in death.
Anna lived on a small farm in Brighton during her growing up years. Her brothers and sisters, Laura Arnold, Homer Genereux, Angela Bachamp, and Art Genereux, all preceded her in death.
On January 9, 1943 Ann married Harry Lutgens. They met at the Denver Dance Academy; Harry was in the Army Air Forces. After Harry was discharged from the service, they settled in Denver. In 1953, they moved to Aurora.
Ann enjoyed raising her children, as well as being a homemaker. She especially enjoyed gardening. She worked for Wright-McGill manufacturing for several years in the 1960's and 1970's.
Harry passed away in 1994. In 1996, Ann met her special friend, Ken Cudd, at a dance at the Aurora Senior Center. They were seldom apart after that, and Ken has continued to be her constant companion.
About four years ago, Ann wrote that her life had been wonderful, and that she has truly been blessed. She will be very much missed by her family and friends.
