Anna Mae Ramos, 87 years of age passed peacefully surrounded by her family on February 27, 2023, in Denver, Colorado. Anna was born on November 12, 1935, to parents, Julia Montoya & Felipe Santiago Martinez in Sarcillo, Colorado.
She graduated from Primero High School in Weston, Colorado in 1954 and moved to Denver, Colorado for work. Anna married Delano Ramos on November 27, 1954, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Denver. Together they raised five children. Glen, Herlinda, Valerie, Gary, Lary.
Anna worked extremely hard throughout her career. She was a seamstress, teacher of religious education and retired as a manufacturing employee, making heart and lung components for Cobe Laboratories.
Anna's hobbies were quilting, sewing, crocheting and genealogy. Her favorite activity was traveling in their RV and camping with family and friends, especially with her grandchildren. Every year she made it a priority to take her children on vacation during the summer months. Anna was an excellent cook and baker and loved feeding her large family!
Preceded in death by her Granddaughter Randi Elizabeth Ramos and her parents Julia Montoya and Felipe Santiago Martinez including numerous brothers and sisters.
Anna is survived by her loving husband Delano Ramos married for 69 years, also survived by her children Glen (Cheryl), Herlinda, Valerie Luna (Manuel), Gary (Tracy), Lary (Jennifer).
Grandchildren - Raeann, Crystal Luna (Eugene Starner), Felicia Ramos-Sanchez (Christopher), Jacob Luna, Danielle (Dustin Jeannotte), Rochelle Ramos-Vargus (Derek), Morgan, Tyler, & Logan.
Great Grandchildren- Jordan Closen, Jacob Luna II, Nathaniel Luna, Aeson Starner, Delano Starner, Gunner Hankinson, Angel Ramos-Vargus, Grace Starner, Vida Luna, & Valentíno Vargus.
Services will be held at Newcomers, 901 S. Sheridan, Lakewood, CO on Saturday March 11, 2023, gathering will start at 11:00 am. Rosary 11:30am and funeral service at 12:00 noon. Interment at Crown Hill Cemetery, 7777 W.29th Ave, Lakewood, CO at 2:30pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, an organization Anna felt strongly about.
