Anna Marie Vormittag slipped away into eternity on May 8th 2022 at Garden Terrace in Aurora Co.
Anna Marie was born to Anthony and Barbara Derner in Flushing NY, raised in College Point NY, married Alfred Vormittag in December 1953. Anna Marie enjoyed puzzles and Bingo, but most of all she loved being a home maker who raised 3 sons in West Babylon NY, later moving to Aurora CO where she enjoyed the mountains. She was preceded in death by her husband Alfred, grandson Michael and granddaughter Kristin. She is survived by her 3 sons Ronald, Alfred II, and Thomas who she referred to as Ronny, Freddy and Tommy. She is survived by 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A gathering of friends and family will occur at Newcomer East Metro Chapel located at 190 Potomac St. in Aurora Colorado on Wednesday June 8th from noon to 1 pm followed by a committal ceremony at Ft. Logan National Cemetery located at 4400 W. Kenyon Ave. in Denver CO at 2:00 pm. Family and friends are welcome.
A special thank you to Vivian and the other staff at Garden Terrace for making Anna Marie's last days as comfortable as possible.
