Anthony Tony Walyer

Our loving husband, dad and grandfather Anthony (Tony) Walyer passed away on December 3, 2009. He was born on June 24, 1921 in Yakima, WA. He was one of six children to Katherine and Sylvester Walyer. He is survived by his sisters: Mary, Barb, Fran and Tenee and younger brother Andy. He was preceded in death by his brother Eddy.

Survived by his loving wife, Shirley; his daughters, Sherry, Pam, Debby and Sue, his wonderful grandchildren, Aimee, Becky, Ricky, Tammy, Jamie, Jere, Randy, Sissy, Mitch and Kelly. Also survived by his 16 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Tony served in the Air Corp and Army from 1942 to 1946. He spent his life running his radiator business and loved going to work every day. He had many hobbies, none of which came before time spent with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved watching their athletic events and never missed a function. His passion for travel was evident and he always shared these experiences with his children and grandchildren. His love for fishing and the outdoors was obvious throughout his life. He lived his life to the fullest and never took a day for granted. He touched many hearts along the way.
He was the definition of family man! He loved his wife Shirley dearly and they were about to celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary this January. They together created a family, created memories and created love that will endure all time. We all will miss him dearly!
