Antonio W. Archuleta , 89, of Thornton, passed away May 24, 2019.
He was born July 10, 1929 in Las Animas, Colorado, the son of Matias and Lupe (Lucero) Archuleta.
He was of the Catholic Faith.
Tony honorably served in the U.S Army during the Korean War. He then continued his service with the Colorado Army National Guard.
He also retired from the City and County of Denver after 30 years as a Heavy Equipment Operator.
Tony loved cars. In his younger years, he also enjoyed camping and fishing with his family in the mountains. Tony loved to dance throughout his entire life.
Antonio is survived by five children, Anthony Archuleta, Ernest Archuleta, Jeanette Archuleta, Edward Archuleta and Loretta M. Belearde; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; former wife, Adela Archuleta; brother, Gilbert Archuleta; sister, Margaret Crissy and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
He is preceded in death by daughter, Mary Archuleta; son, Arnold Archuleta; father, Matias Archuleta, Mother, Lupe Archuleta; two sisters, Annie Ramirez and Esther Lewis and brother, Abel Archuleta.
