Arlene Fernandez, 51, of Denver, Colorado passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021. She was born to the late James and Rose Fernandez on March 9, 1970. Arlene graduated from Iver C. Ranum High School in Westminster, Colorado in 1988.
Arlene loved camping, fishing and spending time with her granddaughters. Arlene was well known to be happy and cheerful, always putting a smile on peoples faces.
Arlene is survived by her son Nicholas Fernandez, her sister Annette Fernandez and her beloved dog Abby. She is survived by her two granddaughters Matilda Fernandez and Celestina Roybal, her nephew Alfonso (Marina) Martinez and niece Rebecca Martinez, two great-nephews and great-niece. Arlene is preceded in death by her parents James and Rose Fernandez, brother Alfonso Martinez Sr. and sister Susie Fernandez.
Services will be held on September 4, 2021 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 901 S Sheridan Blvd. Lakewood CO 80226 at 2:00 pm followed by the reception.
