Arlus Joan Martin

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Arlus “Joan” Martin, who left us to be with the Lord on November 24, 2024, at the age of 88. She was surrounded by the love of her family and friends in her final moments.

Born on May 11, 1936, in Fairplay, Colorado, Joan lived a full and meaningful life, marked by her unwavering faith, strength and boundless kindness.

She is preceded in death by her parents Wayne and Elizabeth, her brother Ronald and her husband Gene. She was survived by her son Kenneth, his wife Renate, her granddaughter Tiffany, her husband Noah, their children Caelyn and Cohen, her granddaughter Nicole and her husband David.

A celebration of life service will be held on January 17, 2025, at Lakewood Church of the Nazarene at 11:00 am.

Though she may no longer be with us in body, Joan will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her. Her legacy of love, compassion, and grace will continue to guide and inspire us every day.
