Armando Garcia

Armando Garcia of Denver, Colorado, age 77, died peacefully at home with is family on the morning of January 8th. He was born in Antonito, Colorado to Fidel Garcia, Sr. and Beatrice Trujillo Garcia. Armando is survived by Iola Garcia, wife of 50 years; children Margot, Nancy, Robert (Guy), Mary Kay (Maria), and Beth; grandchildren: Chelsea, Eli, Alex, Kal, and Abbi; the "outlaws": Rick, Yvonne, Jody, Dan and Eric; and sisters, Theresa Zoller and Virginia Garcia. Armando is preceded in death by his sister, Carmen and brothers, Carlos and Fidel, Jr. Armando is known by many for his generosity and for living life to the fullest. He opened his home and heart to others and cherished the chance to support and celebrate with friends and family in their accomplishments. His large personality and love of family were evident to the end.

Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 1900 California Street, Denver, Colorado 80202. Reception to follow.
