Aro Gail Norwood was born in Thermopolis, Wyoming on June 5th, 1917 and died in Thornton, Colorado on June 2nd 2005. She grew up in Loveland, Colorado and graduated from University of Colorado with a Bachelor Degree in Journalism. She was a certified member of the Denver Area Music Teachers Association and was a devoted piano teacher and church organist in the Denver area.
She is survived by her husband, C. William Norwood of Thornton; her daughter, Sharon Postma Troyer, from Lee's Summit, MO; her son, Larry King from Monroe, N.Y.; two grandsons, Mark and Peter Postma; and one great-grandson, Tristan Jordan.
Aro Gail Norwood's Memorial Service will be at 3:00 P.M., Tuesda, June 7th, at North Valley Community of Christ, 9501 Lou Drive, Thornton, Colorado 80260. In lieu of flowers, donations to Outreach International, P.O. Box 210, Independence, MO 64051-0210, www.outreach-international.org.
Burial will be held Tuesday, June 7th, 10:00 A.M. at Roselawn Memorial Park, Ft. Collins, Colorado.
