71, ret. USAF, of Byers, CO, passed away Nov. 1, 2008. A devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great "pappy" is survived by his wife: Ruth; children: Diana Lombardi; Dennis; Steven (Emily Chavez); Robert; siblings: Starr; Georgia; Lovice; Ann; George; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild. Viewing will be from 4-8PM, with family present from 6-7PM Wed., Nov. 5 at Newcomer Funeral Home - East Metro Chapel. Funeral services will be at 1PM on Thurs., Nov. 6 at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, Byers, CO, with burial and full military honors following at Byers Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to Mt. Tabot Baptist Church.
