Audrey Eileen Giovanini, 88 of Lakewood, CO passed away November 9, 2018
Audrey was born in Detroit, Michigan to Richard and Jessie Fraser. She spent her girlhood years in Saskatchewan, Canada and moved to Lakewood CO in her mid teens. She graduated from Lakewood High School, and then graduated from Saint Anthony School of Practical Nursing.
Audrey was a housewife and mother for many years, then began her nursing career in 1966. She worked at Lutheran Hospital for about ten years, then retired from nursing.
She enjoyed doing embroidery, working her word puzzles and actual puzzles, tending her flowers, and going to bingo. Her favorite ingredient when cooking certain dishes was tomato juice. One of her favorite vacations was her trip to Barbados with her husband Val. Watching her home grow from the two room house it was as a young married couple to what it is today was one of the greatest joys in her life,
Audrey is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Val, sister Jean and grandson Jason. Surviving sons are Garry (Cindy), Larry (Cory), Terry (Tammy), and Bob. She has 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
