Audrey Mae Temple

Audrey Mae (Braxton) Temple, age 91, passed away peacefully on 2 Apr 2024 in Aurora, Colorado. Born April 7, 1932, Audrey grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana as the fourth of 9 siblings. She enlisted in the U.S. Air Force after high school, ultimately being honorably discharged with the rank of Senior Airman/Sergeant. Audrey married fellow Air Force member Harold Temple in Aug 1954 and travelled both the U.S. and the world while raising their family—including Illinois; California; Tehran, Iran; Michigan; Okinawa, Japan and Colorado.

Preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph Joseph Braxton and Elenora Johnson Braxton, sisters Shirley Braxton, Sister Sienna Marie, Carolyn Braxton, Betty Leon and brothers Stanley, Rodney and Barry Braxton. Survived by son David Temple and his wife Ellen McDonnell, daughter Sieann Temple and her husband Robert Rose, and son Alan Temple and his wife Debbie and grandchildren Autumn Grace and Analyn Faith, brother Kenneth Braxton and sister-in-law Veronica Braxton and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Audrey loved baking, bowling, cherished time with friends and family as well as painting and arts & crafts and rooting for both the Saints and Broncos.
