Augustus W. "Gus" Cummings, Jr., 76 of Westminister, Colorado. Gus served in USAF for 4 years; he graduated from Virginia Tech School of Engineering in 1959. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Betty Cummings; children: Gus (Mary) Cummings, III, Michael (Lisa) Cummings, Linda (Jim) Chalat, and Pamela Cummings; 11 grandchildren: Jason (Desiree), Alexandra, Amy, David, Ben, Michael, Rachel, Sarah, Grace, Harris, and Parker; 1 great grandson Ethan; and 2 brothers Richard (Laurie) Cummings and Albert (Jean) Cummings and 1 sister Dorothy Roberts. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 22, 2007 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Newcomer Family Funeral Home-West Metro Chapel; Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at 1:00 PM at Columbine United Church, 6375 S. Platte Canyon Rd., Littleton, CO. Donations are suggested to the Denver Rescue Mission, 2544 Champa Street, Denver, CO 80205-2624.
