Aundrey Wilkins
February 17, 1954 - October 2, 2018
Aundrey C. Wilkins was born in Lower Peach Tree, Alabama on February 17, 1954 to Mr. Bernard James Carlton and Mrs. Dorothy Stallworth Carlton. She graduated from Pine Hill high school and South Alabama University. She married the late Quincy Joe Wilkins, II. Out of that union a son Quincy Joe Wilkins, III was born.
Aundrey worked 30 plus years with several Federal Government Agencies such as Federal Highway Administration and the Environmental Protection Agency. She also worked several years for the Colorado Department of Education.
Aundrey was a member of Simchat Torah Beit Midrash. Aundrey was committed to continuing Biblical study under the leadership of the Holy Spirit who continued to show her the meaning and fulfilling of a dream she had where she was told she was born and designed to help Israel. This message began a major change in her life. She was a writer, teacher and mentor and had a passion for helping the outcast become mighty men and women of valor as God purposes them to become. She traveled to Israel numerous times and supported variance Israel based initiatives to help Israel.
Aundrey is survived by her son Quincy Joe Wilkins, III, Joyce Ireland (Kevin) Buffalo, NY, Vivian Carlton, Dallas, TX, James Carlton, Lower Peach Tree, AL, Sandra Johnson, Lower Peach Tree, AL, Ethel Smith (Kenneth) Monroeville, AL, Reseian Gaither, Houston, TX, Chonna Carlton, Montgomery, AL as well as 23 nieces and nephews and 25 great nieces and nephews.
