Ava Leone Evans, 97, of Aurora, passed away March 17, 2020.
She was born September 24, 1922 in Centerville, Iowa, the daughter of Samuel and Elsie (Jones) Haines.
Ava married Claud Evans on September 22, 1942 in Centerville. Claud and Ava also lived in Ames, Iowa and later in Ault, CO and Greeley, CO.
In Greeley, Ava was a past President and and active member of PEO.
Ava is survived by son, Douglas (Jan) Evans; grandsons, Brad (Tammy) Evans of Highlands Ranch, CO and Brian Evans of Aurora, CO and 3 great-grandsons, Adam, the son of Brian and Zach and Greg, the sons of Brad.
She is preceded in death by Husband, Claud Evans; Son, Richard Evans; Father, Samuel Haines and Mother, Elsie Haines.
Private family services will be held.
