Barbara Jean Frye

Barbara Jean Frye, 96, passed away on January 17, 2022 in Aurora CO. She was an amazingly happy woman, so fun, so full of love, life, and joy. She had an immense heart and was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend, always supportive, kind, and giving. Her laughter and smile will be deeply missed and she will be forever loved.
Barbara was born in Danville, IL on March 20, 1925 to Clarence and Marybelle Dickson. She was predeceased by her parents, sister Margaret, husbands James Dean and Duane Frye, and daughter Karen (Andy) Tuggle.
She is survived by daughter Deb (Larry) Gustafson, son John (Karen) Dean, six grandchildren, Ryan (Michelle) Tuggle, Stacy (Jason) Rini, Kyle Tuggle, Kimberly Chestnut (Jason Steich), Vanessa Dean (Chris Seidel), and James (Meredith) Dean, four great grandchildren, Carter and Bryson Rini, Dean and Julia Steich, and four stepchildren, Jan Black, Lyn Rademaker, Doug Frye, and Greg Frye-Mason.
Barbara was blessed to have spent her final years being graciously cared for at Shalom Park.
