Barbara "Barb" Elaine Hardy of Aurora passed on December 12th, 2023. She was born to Corrine and Felix Lopez on February 5th, 1956 In Oceanside, California. Barb spent her childhood as a military brat spending time in California, North Carolina, and Alaska. Barb married at 18 and had two daughters. she eventually found love again with Brian Hardy. Barb loved to cheer on the Broncos and tease anyone who dared go against them! Spending her summers camping at the lake and in the mountains created some of her fondest memories. Animals of all kinds were always a friend to Barb, sometimes she preferred the company of a good dog to people. Being with her family window shopping, going to the casino, and going out to eat made her smile bigger sometimes than her cheeks would allow.
Barb is preceded in death by her grandparents Mary and Cate Lagunas. Her mother and father, Corrine and Felix Lopez. She is survived in death by her dedicated and unwavering husband Brian Hardy, two beautiful daughters Deseri and Mary, Three loving brothers, Eddie, Tony and Robert, two adoring sisters Annette "Mickey" and Susan, wonderful nieces and nephews, many cousins, her very cherished grandchildren, Cassie, Brian, Katie, Gage, Christopher, great-grandchildren, life-long friends she called family, any dog that would let her pet it, and many many respected co-workers.
