Barbara Miedrich, 70, of Aurora, passed away March 3, 2020.
She was born December 8, 1949 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, the daughter of George and Lois (Heltsley) Miedrich.
Barbara participated in Special Olympics when she was younger. She was a member of Meadowood Church. She also enjoyed Aktion Club with the Cottonwood day program.
Barbara loved going to Rockies Games with Dungarvin Colorado. She loved watching Broncos Games and going to Black Hawk to gamble. Barbara loved watching musicals, especially Grease with Elvis and Cookie in her lap. She enjoyed interacting with others, eating out at Red Robin ("yum-yum") and drinking iced coffee.
Barbara is survived by four nieces, Alana Miedrich, Debbie (Randy) Fisher, Karen (Brad) Luo and Melisa (Fran Herin) Nault; three brothers, Joshua Smith, Kristopher Smith and Mario Caligiuri; sister, Nicki Smith; surrogate parents, William and Leslie Smith and many great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
She is preceded in death by brother, Alan Miedrich (Ret. USAF); sister-in-law, Marie Miedrich; father, George Miedrich; mother, Lois Miedrich and nephew, Bill Moore.
